Nodes

Nodes are objects in an effect like a particle emitter or a force field. Nodes can be moved, rotated and scaled and move together with their parent node if present.

Properties

The following properties are shared between all types of nodes and can be adjusted in the property window.

Description

Lifetime

Time period when the object is active. If Repeat is enabled, the object becomes active again after the specified duration.

Start trigger

Trigger for starting the object’s lifetime. See Triggers for details.

Stop trigger

Trigger for stopping the object’s lifetime. See Triggers for details.

Position

Position of the object. This option allows you to specify a motion path the object traverses during its lifetime, which is shown in the scene view if the property is selected.

Scale

Size of the object.

Rotation

Rotation of the object. For 3D effects, the rotation is composed of roll, yaw and pitch.
